Nutrition Nxt, a pet care solutions startup, announced that it will set up a manufacturing facility at Wargal in Telangana’s Siddipet district. The facility, expected to be operational by financial year 2026, will be built with an investment of approximately ₹84 crore and have a production capacity of 40,000 tonnes of pet food per annum. It will adhere to US Food and Drug Administration standards, the company said during the launch of its parent pet food products on Sunday.
Announcing the development, Praharsha Cherukury, founder and CEO of Nutrition Nxt, said the new facility will support the company’s latest launch, ‘Parent’ pet foods, a range of life-stage-specific nutrition products for pets. The ‘Parent’ product line includes ‘Mother and Puppy’ food supporting gestation, lactation, and young puppies up to four months; ‘Puppy’ food offering advanced nutrition up to 18 months; a balanced ‘Adult Dogs’ formula for maintenance nutrition; and a ‘Senior Dogs’ range enriched with pre- and probiotics to support ageing pets across all breeds and sizes.
Currently, Nutrition Nxt manufactures its products at a partner facility certified by the FDA and GMP in Thailand, a release said.
