Senior officials from the Cyberabad traffic police wing along with the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Serilingampally zone conducted an on-site inspection of the ongoing road widening works in Gachibowli on Thursday (April 24, 2025).

Locations inspected

The inspection covered several key locations including HCU depot junction, Mazidbanda village, the RTA office, Anjaiah Nagar Labour Adda, and Zilla Parishad High School Gachibowli., stretches currently undergoing widening as part of the city’s broader traffic management strategy.

During the field visit, the Traffic police joint commissioner Gajarao Bhupal reviewed the progress and flagged pending issues that could hinder the timely completion of the project. These concerns were immediately brought to the attention of the GHMC zonal commissioner, with an emphasis on accelerating the pace of work to ensure that all road upgrades are completed before the onset of the monsoon season.

Gachibowli Traffic inspector G. Suresh said that on-site obstructions were identified and addressed in consultation with the authorities concerned.
