Operation Sindoor continues; Defence responds strongly to Pakistani ceasefire violations

The Indian Armed Forces continued Operation Sindoor through the night in response to multiple ceasefire violations by Pakistan along the Line of Control (LoC).

According to sources, Indian forces successfully neutralised all targeted threats during the operation, which remains ongoing.

In the past 14 days, Pakistan has reportedly violated the ceasefire over 60 times, with heavy shelling recorded in areas including Kupwara, Uri, and Akhnoor.

In a retaliatory move, India used the S-400 missile system to strike back, demonstrating its advanced defence capabilities.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi issued a statement expressing solidarity with the Modi government, saying, “We are with the government.”

The Defence Ministry confirmed that India has successfully intercepted and destroyed all hostile targets and remains fully prepared to safeguard its sovereignty and citizens.
