Pahalgam terror attack | ‘Pakistan Murdabad’ slogans raised at candlelight march in Hyderabad


Following the terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir, several parts of Hyderabad witnessed protests at short notice. One such protest was by the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) in Malakpet on Wednesday (April 23, 2025) evening. The demonstration – also a candle light march – witnessed slogans in solidarity with the victims, and against Pakistan.

Men and women, holding candles in hand, marched alongside with one another, even as they expressed their concern at the terror attack. They raised slogans against a terrorist organisations. The Malakpet residents, including AIMIM MLA Ahmed bin Abdullah Balala, also raised Pakistan Murdabad slogans

Speaking to the media, Mr. Balala said, “We have gathered here in Malakpet to protest the terror attack in Pahalgam. Brothers of all communities – Hindus, Muslims, Christians, Jains, maulanas and pandits – took out this rally. We are here to condole the deaths of those who were killed by terrorists. Pakistan thinks that by perpetrating these terror attacks, it can tear asunder the unity of India. Inshallah they will fail. This the opportune moment for the Government of India to take the right action, and punish the murderers, and those behind them.”

Mr. Balala prayed for those who lost their lives, and the injured as well. More protests and demonstrations against the terror attack are planned later in the evening today
