PIB Fact Check denies of Indian Army document leak

On Monday, April 28, PIB Fact Check dismissed claims made by pro-Pakistan social media accounts that alleged confidential documents related to Indian Army preparedness had been leaked, stating that these claims are false.

The Press Information Bureau’s (PIB) Fact Check unit has verified that these documents are fake by releasing statement on microblogging platform ‘X’.

“Pro-Pakistan social media accounts are falsely claiming that confidential documents related to the preparedness of the #IndianArmy have been leaked…These documents are FAKE,” the statement said.

Urging the public to refrain from sharing unverified information, PIB Fact Check said that rely on official sources of the government.

“Please avoid sharing unverified information and rely only on official sources from the Government of India for accurate information,” according to the statement.
