Staffing firm Quess Corp has expanded its service portfolio with the launch of Origint, a new brand that will offer end-to-end solutions for setting up Global Capability Centres (GCCs). These services include blueprinting, regulatory compliance, real estate, infrastructure management, digital onboarding, AI-powered hiring, and managed operations, catering to both Indian and international markets.
This move aligns with the company’s ambition of becoming a global enterprise. “Quess is structurally important to India because we provide employment and are involved in some of the country’s key sectors,” said Ajit Isaac, Chairman of Quess Corp, noting that the company is targeting the US, Continental Europe, and Japan as key markets for expansion.
Guruprasad Mudlapur, Group CEO of Quess Corp, described Origint as a growth engine for the company’s GCC business. The new offering positions Quess in competition with players like ANSR and Zinnov, who operate in the same space.
India currently hosts over 1,700 GCCs, with 120 new centres launched in 2024 alone. These centres have contributed to a 17 per cent year-on-year (y-o-y) growth in the tech workforce, generating nearly 1.8 lakh new jobs in 2024.
Market projection
The GCC market is projected to reach $105 billion by 2030, employing around 24 lakh professionals.
“Global enterprises are increasingly seeking more than just cost savings, they want speed, innovation, and efficiency at scale. Origint is our commitment to powering the next wave of enterprise transformation—not as a service provider, but as a long-term growth partner,” said Mudlapur.
Quess has supported over 350 GCCs across eight countries over the past 17 years. Origint will work closely with Quess’s recently demerged entities- Digitide, which offers AI-first digital solutions, and Bluspring, which specialises in infrastructure management — in addition to key global partners.
Commenting on the development, Lohit Bhatia, President – Workforce Management, Quess Corp, said, “With this holistic approach across people, platforms, and precision delivery, we are poised to reimagine the GCC playbook.”
Quess operates in sectors including IT, BFSI, engineering, telecom, manufacturing, and retail through its capability centre models. With Origint, the company aims to position itself as a future-ready infrastructure player, supporting enterprise transformation at scale.
