Congress MP and Lok Sabha LoP Rahul Gandhi has cut short his visit to the United States in the wake of the Pahalgam terror attack.
Upon arrival, Mr. Gandhi will attend the Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting in New Delhi on Thursday (April 24, 2025), at around 10.30 am. Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh took to ‘X’ to inform about this development.

“Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Shri Rahul Gandhi has cut short his U.S. visit and will be attending in person the CWC meeting in New Delhi tomorrow at 10:30 AM,” Mr. Ramesh posted on ‘X’.
As many as least 26 people were killed in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday. Notably, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had also cut short their visit to Saudi Arabia and the U.S., respectively, following the terror attack in Pahalgam.
