The alumni of the 1983 batch of Sainik School Kazhakootam reunited at their alma mater on Monday.

The day’s programmes began with a wreath-laying ceremony at the Stupa of Remembrance. This was followed by a tour of the classrooms, laboratories and other facilities, evoking fond memories of their formative years.

Air Marshal B. Manikantan, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Air Command, and an old boy of the school, gifted a painting of the school on the occasion.

“The reunion served as an inspiring platform for the present school community to interact with the ex-cadets. Their success stories and reflections deeply resonated with the audience, reaffirming the shared values, traditions, and indomitable spirit that define the ethos of Sainik School Kazhakootam,” a defence spokesperson said.
