The Kerala Secretariat Employees Association is set to release a documentary celebrating Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s achievements at the helm of successive Left Democratic Front governments over the past nine years. The Association, affiliated to the CPI(M), is planning to release the documentary as part of the fourth anniversary celebrations of the current LDF government to be organised on May 21.
Speaking to The Hindu, association State president P.Honey said that the work on the 30 minute-long documentary is currently ongoing.
“The association initiated this project on our own. The party has not given any direction. As a service organisation, we have the freedom to take up such projects. The Chief Minister has agreed to take part in the anniversary celebrations to be organised by the association at the Central Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram on May 21, although we are yet to tell him about the plans to release this documentary,” said Mr.Honey.
