Skoda Auto India has officially commenced customer deliveries of the second-generation Kodiaq, its flagship seven-seater SUV. Launched at a starting price of Rs 46.89 lakh (ex-showroom), the premium SUV is now available for test drives and bookings across over 280 Skoda dealerships nationwide.
The all-new Kodiaq arrives in India as Skoda celebrates 25 years in the country and 130 years of its global legacy. It is offered in two variants:
- Sportline – Rs 46.89 lakh
- Selection L&K – Rs 48.69 lakh

The SUV is locally manufactured and built on the MQB37 platform. Measuring 4,758mm in length, 1,864mm in width, and 1,679mm in height, the new Kodiaq offers a 2,791mm wheelbase. It delivers an ARAI-certified mileage of 14.86 km/l and has a ground clearance of 155mm when fully loaded.
Powering the 2025 Kodiaq is a 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine producing 204PS and 320Nm of torque, mated to a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission with an all-wheel-drive system — the same setup as the Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line.
The Kodiaq features a flexible three-row layout and impressive cargo space:
- 281 litres with all seats up
- 786 litres with the third row folded
- 1,976 litres with the second and third rows folded
Design & features
Design elements include LED Crystallinium headlamps with a welcome function, a horizontal LED light strip across the grille, and a full-width red strip at the rear. The Sportline variant sports glossy black highlights, while the L&K gets premium dark chrome touches.
Seven exterior colour options are on offer, with Bronx Gold exclusive to the L&K and Steel Grey exclusive to the Sportline. Interior choices vary by variant – Sportline gets an all-black cabin, while the Selection L&K features Cognac leather upholstery.
The cabin is loaded with premium features such as a 13-inch infotainment touchscreen, multifunction smart dials for climate and media controls, a repositioned gear selector behind the steering wheel, rear tablet holder, and ergo front seats with pneumatic massage.
