SSLC results: Yadgir district registers 51.60 pass rate; 64.43 in Raichur


Yadgir and Sindhanur taluks have registered the highest pass percentage in both Yadgir and Raichur districts in the SSLC examinations of which the results were announced on Friday.

The Yadgir district secured the 33rd rank in the State’s district-wise list with an overall pass percentage of 51.60, as 7,769 students had passed among 15,036 students who appeared for the examination.

In the Yadgir taluk, 5,373 students, including 2,582 boys and 2,791 girls, appeared for the examination, and of them, 2,953 students, including 1,221 boys and 1,732 girls, with 54.96%.

Shahapur taluk came in second place with a 52.33 pass percentage. As many as 4,829 students, including 2,356 boys and 2,473 girls, have appeared for the examination, and of them, 2,527 students, including 1,044 boys and 1,483 girls, have passed.

In Shorapur taluk recorded 47.15 pass percentage. As many as 4,834 students, including 2,276 boys and 2,558 girls, have appeared for the examination, and of them, 2,279 students, including 873 boys and 1,406 girls, have passed.

Raichur district falls to 32nd from 31st rank

Sindhanur taluk came first among the taluks in Raichur district, registering a 64.43 pass percentage.

As many as 5,544 students, including 2,616 boys and 2,928 girls, appeared for the examination, and of them, 3,572 students, including 1,465 boys and 2,107 girls, with 64.43%, have passed.

Deodurga stood in the second place, registering a 52.37 pass percentage.

As many as 4,193 students, including 2,070 boys and 2,123 girls, appeared for the examination, and of them, 2,196 students, including 879 boys and 1,317 girls, have passed.

Surprisingly, Raichur taluk has registered a 44.81% pass rate, which is the lowest among the remaining taluks, which are Lingasagur (48.37%) and Manvi (46.94%).

In Lingasagur taluk, 6,159 students, including 3,056 boys and 3,103 girls, have appeared for the examination, and of them, 2,979 students, including 1,268 boys and 1,711 girls, have passed with 48.37%.

In Manvi taluk, 5,505 students, including 2,645 boys and 2,860 girls, appeared for the examination, and of them, 2,584 students, including 1,011 boys and 1,573 girls, passed with 46.94%.

In Raichur taluk, as many as 7,878 students, including 3,795 boys and 4,084 girls, appeared for the examination, and of them, 3,530 students, including 1,299 boys and 2,231 girls, have passed with 44.81%.
