Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on Monday condoled the loss of lives in a road accident near Nanguneri. In a statement, he announced a compensation of ₹2 lakh each to the families of seven people who lost their lives in the accident and ₹1 lakh each to those who were seriously injured and ₹50,000 each to those who sustained minor injuries. The compensation will be released from the Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund.
