T.P. Chandrasekharan memorial opened at Vallikkad

Mangat Ram Pasla, general secretary, Revolutionary Marxist Party of India (RMPI), on Sunday (May 4) opened a building in memory of T.P. Chandrasekharan, party founder, who was murdered on May 4, 2012, at Vallikkad, near Vadakara in Kozhikode.

The building is located on the spot where Chandrasekharan was hacked to death. A large number of party workers were present. Mr. Pasla alleged that the Communist Party of India (Marxist) [CPI(M)] had surrendered itself to neo-capitalism. He also alleged that at a time when the country was facing an onslaught of neo-fascism, the [CPI(M)] was rolling out a red carpet to such tendencies. This was evident from the statement of a minister in the Kerala Cabinet, who called Gautam Adani its partner, Mr. Pasla added. The RMPI had earlier brought the land where Chandrasekharan’s murder happened. The memorial includes his full-size statue and other memorabilia such as his motorcycle, bag, and spectacles.
