Tamil Nadu records 99.97% pass rate in ISC Class 12 exams: CISCE


Tamil Nadu recorded a pass percentage of 99.97 in the Class 12 Indian School Certificate (ISC) examinations, the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has announced.

The results of the ISC Class 12 and Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Class 10 examinations were declared on Wednesday (April 30, 2025). A total of 3,052 students from 79 schools across Tamil Nadu appeared for the ISC Class 12 exams. While the girls achieved a 100% pass rate, 99.94% of boys passed.

In the ICSE exams, of the 6,174 students from 123 schools, 99.95% cleared the examinations. All the girls who took the exams passed, while the pass percentage for boys was 99.91%. Nationally, the pass percentage was 99.95 for the ICSE and 99.97 for the ISC examinations.
