Tata Motors announces 300% dividend for FY 2025; check out payment date


Tata Motors, the commercial and passenger vehicles manufacturer, announced Rs 6 per equity share today, May 13, for the financial year ended March 31, 2025, according to a stock market disclosure. 

The company has also shared its March quarter earnings for the fourth quarter of FY 2025. 

“The Board of Directors at its Meeting held today has recommended declaration of final dividend of Rs 6.00 per Equity Share of ₹2 each (@ 300%) for the financial year ended March 31, 2025. The dividend, if declared at the AGM, shall be paid to the eligible shareholders on or before June 24, 2025,” the company said in a regulatory filing.

According to the company’s official release if the dividend declared at the AGM will be paid on or before June 24, 2025.

Tata Motors’ Q4FY25 earnings

The company reported a profit of Rs 8,600 crore in the January-March 2025 quarter. 

Revenue for the quarter came in at Rs 1,19,500 crore, rising 0.4 per cent on-year. Meanwhile, the company’s operating profit EBITDA or Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortisation (EBITDA) stood at Rs 16,700 crore. EBITDA margin for the quarter stood at 14 per cent.

Meanwhile, shares of Tata Motors closed at Rs 707.9 each, down 1.76 per cent on BSE today, May 13.
