A search launched by the police in view of the 24-hour deadline for eviction of Pakistan nationals staying in India has revealed that two Pakistan nationals are staying Yadgir and Raichur districts.
According to sources, one Pakistan national is staying in Shorapur of Yadgir district and the other is in Raichur.
The two women from Pakistan are married to men in these districts and are staying on long-term visas (LTVs).
“We are waiting for orders from the government on the eviction process of the Pakistan nationals who are staying on LTVs. We will take further action according to further orders,” Superintendents of Police in Yadgir and Raichur, Pruthvik Shankar and Puttamadaiah, respectively, told The Hindu.
The personal identification of these two Pakistan nationals has not been revealed for security reasons.
