On the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, women devotees offered prayers at the Sri Jagannatha Swamy temple on Wednesday. A special ‘Ksheerabhisekham’ was performed to the idols of Sri Lakshmi Narasimhaswamy.

The temple, believed to be constructed in 13th Century wore a festive look as devotees arrived to offer prayers to the presiding deities.

To ensure a hassle free darshan for devotees, members of the Jagannath Seva Samithi, along with priest Manikantha made elaborate arrangements.
